Picture This!


Awhile ago I had decided it was in my best interest to close my pose store because I wasn't sure I'd have time for it anymore. To be honest, I'm not sure I still have time for it, but missed having it immensely. My blog has been pretty quiet lately because I'm pleased to announce that I, along with my pose making-photograph taking friend Nazeeya Yven, have decided to open Picture This! Poses back on the grid. Stay tuned for a ton of new releases, including "Lift Her Up" as pictured above. I'm so excited to have an inworld location again. Poser Pavillion
Newness from Picture This! Poses



It's another round of Poser Pavillion, who's theme is centered around the same Sci-Fi goodness as the current round of the Garden. I've released two new pose sets. Trinity is an action pose pack that comes with mesh guns (though you can use any item) as well as a two person action pose Jedi vs. Sith. The 'Jedi' pose comes with a male and female version while the 'Sith' pose is unisex. Like Trinity, it comes with the light sabers.

Pose Fair Preview - Just Visiting




When I first started making poses, I wanted to make poses that would inspire beautiful photographs. However, I got more into making poses for bloggers - and mostly ones that were more useful to me than others. Pose fair is giving me a chance of breaking away from that stigma and really pushing my personal envelope into more artistic and inspiring animations. Here is a first preview of one of the many variants of this soft sit. 

I spent awhile trying to figure out where to take my picture, and my adventures had me scoping out older faves (with some of them closed) and seeking out newer sims. My favorite groups to hunt down SIM locations are [SL] Blogger Support's Simwide Locations , Second Life - Beautiful SIMs, and the SL Tourist Board. I ended up finding a beautiful artistic, expressive waterscape SIM called Just Visiting.

(Speaking of photographs, when I look at this photograph I feel a sense of pride. I am pleased with how far my editing skills have come over the past few months. #Tootingmyownhorn)

Prelude to a Kiss


So I've been working on my pose store Picture This! Poses. It's been a fun little outlet of creativity to me. Mostly, because it makes me push my photo editing skills a bit further. Ultimately, I make poses because I enjoy making pictures so darn much. This is my latest pose for couples, it's called Prelude to a Kiss. I tried new things with this photo, such as windlights and masking. I think it turned out pretty nice. I used Strawberry Singh's "Diamond" Windlight, which you can download from her blog.
